The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon's reservation area overlaps part of Yamhill County; the Grand Ronde community is often described as straddling the Yamhill/Polk county line rather than sitting entirely within one county. Property within reservation trust land generally is not recorded through the county the same way as fee land — contact the Confederated Tribes' Realty office or the BIA for guidance on trust-land transactions.
